Colleen Evans CHBME,CPC,PCS

CEO/President

After several years with the banking industry, Colleen began her career in medical accounts receivable management in 1980 at a Pediatric Clinic. Four years later she accepted a position as the Business Office Supervisor for a privately owned psychiatric hospital which included A/R consulting at its sister hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest. In 1990, she and her husband assumed private ownership of POMS, a rapidly expanding billing company opened by the hospital a year earlier. Today, some 20 years later, Colleen continues to oversee the operations of POMS Inc with her husband and son. An active member of the American College of Medical Coding Specialists (ACMCS) along with having earned CPC certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders. Her articles on pertinent issues effecting today's medical practices are regularly published in MD NEWS, Idaho, Seattle and Greater Portland Editions.

Lyle Evans, CHBME

CFO/Vice President

Lyle Evans is part owner of POMS Inc. and the Chief Financial Officer for the company. He is also Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors of POMS Inc. Mr. Evans received his BBA from Idaho State University with a major in Accounting Information Systems in 1984. Mr. Evans has over 17 years experience in the healthcare billing industry. He is a member of HBMA (Healthcare Billing and Management Association) and holds the designation of CHBME (Certified Healthcare and Billing Management Executive) issued by HBMA. Mr. Evans is currently a member of the national Education Committee at HBMA.

 

Jeremy Evans

VP of Operations

Jeremy Evans is the Vice President of Operations for Professional Office Management Service and has many years of billing and management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho and is currently working on his Master of Business Administration at Boise State University. Jeremy's professional goals include a long-term commitment to excellence with Professional Office Management Service and seeing to it that all clients receive the best possible service and financial results. 

Kathleen Lewis, CPC

General Manager

Kathleen Lewis is the General Manager of POMS inc. She graduated from Boise State University in 1997 and has her Bachelor of Science in Health Science, as well as a minor in Business and Gerontology. She obtained her CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification in 2003. Kathleen began her career with the company in 1997 and has committed years of experience, providing clients with the highest quality medical billing and coding services available. kathleenl@pomsid.com

 

Sheryl Brewster

Operations Supervisor

Sheryl Brewster is the Operations Supervisor with many years of experience in medical billing, provider relations, customer service and office operations. As Supervisor, she oversees our office operations and assists the VP of Operations and the General Manager. Sheryl practices coding principles and has extensive medical billing knowledge.
